1. Digital Products — General Policy

All products sold on kids-flashcards.com and our affiliated Etsy shop are digital downloads (printable flashcard PDFs and image files). Because digital files are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned” once accessed, all sales are generally final.

However, we understand that problems can occur, and we are committed to resolving any legitimate issues fairly and promptly.

2. When a Refund Will Be Issued

We will issue a full refund in the following situations:

  • File not delivered: You completed payment but did not receive the download link or file within 24 hours.
  • Corrupted or unreadable file: The downloaded file cannot be opened or is damaged, and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
  • Significant mismatch: The product is materially different from what was described or shown in the product listing (e.g., wrong subject, wrong language).
  • Duplicate purchase: You accidentally purchased the same product twice and contact us before downloading the duplicate.
  • Technical error: A billing or payment error resulted in an incorrect charge.

3. When Refunds Will Not Be Issued

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • You have already downloaded and accessed the file.
  • You changed your mind after purchase.
  • You found a similar product elsewhere at a lower price.
  • The product does not match your printer settings or paper size preferences (the listing description specifies file format and dimensions).
  • You do not have the software required to open PDF or image files (e.g., Adobe Reader, standard image viewers).
  • Refund requests submitted more than 14 days after the purchase date.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase date. Include the following information in your message:

  • Your full name and the email address used for the purchase.
  • Your order number or transaction ID.
  • A brief description of the issue.
  • Screenshots or other evidence if applicable (e.g., error message when opening the file).

5. Refund Process

Once your refund request is reviewed and approved:

  • Refunds for purchases made via Etsy will be processed through Etsy’s refund system. Please allow 3–5 business days for the refund to appear on your original payment method.
  • Refunds for purchases made directly on kids-flashcards.com will be processed via the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).

6. Exchanges and Replacements

If you received a defective or incorrect file, we may offer a replacement before processing a refund. We will re-send the correct, working file to the email address associated with your order at no additional cost. If the replacement does not resolve the issue, a full refund will be issued.

7. Etsy Orders

If you purchased through our Etsy shop, Etsy’s own buyer protection policies also apply. You may open a case through Etsy’s Resolution Center if you have not received a satisfactory response from us within 48 hours. We fully cooperate with Etsy’s dispute resolution process.
